2023 Ignite tracks

Students will take a 1 credit GT 1000 class and 2 other classes (6-7 credits total). 

Analyzing Atlanta

This track will focus on the study of Atlanta’s culture, history and people. Students interested in learning more about the city we are located in would be interested in this track. 

Architecture & Design

This track will focus on architecture- how it impacts our culture, affects everyday lives, and helps to create a more sustainable world. Students interested in using design as a way to address social issues would be interested in this track. 

GTF1RST

This track is designed to advance first-generation and limited income student success by focusing on strategies for academic success; setting goals regarding major selection and career planning; and connecting students with various resources and co-curricular activities on the Georgia Tech campus. Students will also engage with the Atlanta community in outreach projects to address community-identified needs.

Innovation

This track will focus on entrepreneurship and creative problem solving! Students who are interested in understanding how customers think, making or building, and would like to increase their knowledge about startups would be interested in this track. 

Leadership

This Track will focus on learning the principles of leadership and how to work well with others. Students who are interested in learning leadership skills in preparation for getting involved on campus would be interested in this track!  

Pre-Health

This track will help students explore on-campus opportunities for those who have an interest in health and wellness-related careers. Students interested in developing skills related to obtaining clinical and volunteer positions, as well as recognizing how their strengths play into potential future careers in health would be interested in this track. 

Undergraduate Research

This track will focus on undergraduate research and how it can benefit you as an undergraduate and beyond! Students interested in learning more about undergraduate research opportunities would be interested in this track.
